Abstract
In recent years,1G shaking table tests snd its simulation numerical analyses have been conducted. However,in 1G shaking tables confine stress in the model ground is lower than that in actual ground. Then in case, these of numerical simulations, the soil-properties under low confine stress is needed. Several studies about the liquefqction characteristic under low confine stress have been reported untill now,but the simples used in the studies did not contained fine sand. The authos conducted several cyclic torsional shear tests on silty sands and a clean sand to demonstrate the liquefaction strength and post-liquefaction behavior. Test results showed that the share modulus of liquefacted soils under low confining pressure were smaller than those under normalconfined stress.
