Abstract
Shearing characteristics of flowable fill were investigated. The density of kaolin mud water was 1.30 (g/cm3). The cement content per unit volume of mud water in the sample was 100kg/m3. Fly ash was mixed in the samples. Undrained shear tests were conducted after cyclic loading by a triaxial apparatus. As a result, undrained shear strength increased by adding fly ash and was almost the same as samples of sand mixing flowable fill with p value (the weight ratio of mud water to sand)=1.0 .
