Abstract
A solitary fibrous tumor is a rare neoplasm that typically arises in the pleura, but recently the tumor has been reported to also occur in other areas. A 59-year-old female with a tumor in the nasal cavity presented with the chief complaint of nasal swelling. CT revealed the tumor to occupy the right nasal cavity. A total resection was achieved through an extended Denker's operation. The histopathological diagnosis was a solitary fibrous tumor. The tumor cells were immunohistochemically positive for CD34. After the operation, there was no evidence of recurrence for 12 months.
