Acquired haemophilia is a disease in which autoantibodies against blood coagulation factor Ⅷ appear due to various factors. We herien report a case of acquired haemophilia with epistaxis. A 73-year-old man visited our otorhinolaryngology department as an outpatient due to repeated epistaxis. Despite the cauterization of the bleeding points, epistaxis recurred. A laboratory test showed that the patient's activated partial thromboplastin time was prolonged. We consulted the blood medicine department. A diagnosis of acquired hemophilia was made, and immunotherapy with corticosteroids was initiated. There has been no recurrence of epistaxis since the start of treatment. The diagnosis of acquired haemophilia A based on nasal bleeding alone is very rare. A delayed diagnosis may result in fatal bleeding such as intracranial hemorrhage or intra-abdominal bleeding; thus an early diagnosis and treatment are desirable.
