Abstract
A case of rhinopathia gangraenosa progressiva was treated by 60Co-radiation, antibiotics and steroid hormone. Additionally, a piece of gauze, dipped in α-chymotrypsin, was applied on the gangraenous region of the nasal cavity and marked effect was observed in the local findings. The authors recommended the use of α-chymotrypsin together with 60Co-radiation and others, as an effective treatment of this disease.
