Abstract
Seventeen cases (31 ears) of sensory-neural deafness were treated with ATP enteric coated tablets. Usual dosage was 6 tablets daily (each tablet contains 20 mg of ATP), given for 20 days. Efficacy was evaluated according to such methods as calculating average hearing loss in 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 and 8000 cps, that in speech range cycles (500, 1000 and 2000) and that in 250, 1000 and 4000 cps. When the recovery of hearing was more than 10 dB in one method and more than 5 dB in the other methods, the author evaluated this drug to be effective. Efficacy ratio was 23% in hearing and 36% in tinnitus. By this experience the author assured that ATP tablet was effective as well as ATP injection.
