Abstract
These days we are confronted with a serious problem that the remarkable progress of antibiotics is attended with the increase of those germ which are resistent to antibiotics. The results of a new antibiotics “Panfran S” used to the patients in authors' clinic are as follows:
This drug used in 31 cases: 11 of them suffered from an ear disease, 13 a nose disease 7 a pharynx, larynx or trachea disease. It was remarkably effective in 20 cases, moderately effective in 8 cases and ineffective in the other 3 cases. The last 3 cases were suffered from chronic otitis media in which no sensitivity to any antibiotics was shown in the test.
On the other hand,“Panfran S” was effective in every case of acute inflammation, and no aftereffect was found in the internal use of it.
