Abstract
The blue sclera has been described in the field of ophthalmology to a hereditary disease originated from middle germinal layer.
The author experienced a case of this disease as follows: A twenty-seven years old man was admitted on April 1964 because of headache and nasal obstruction. This case was a kind of blue sclera complicated with an impediment in the autonomic nervous system from the examination of “Ryodoraku”, which was researched by Dr. Nakatani.
The author investigated on his literature the relationship between Ryodoraku and blue sclera, however, this association could not be explained of that autonomic mechanism may play a part in the origin.
