Abstract
A rare case of eardrum-malformation is reported. A 69 years old man had a normal eardrum at the right side, but on the left side, it appeared as if two eardrums were connected with each other, on which a connective tissuelike wrinkle was seen at the border of the two.
This is quite a rare case of malformation and nothing like this can be found in the literatures. It is supposed that the cause of it is perhaps related to some growthinhibiting mechanism at the later fetal stage or at the early stage after parturition.
