Abstract
A 5-year-old boy who given a hit on the pharynx with the handle of a duster 4 days before, complained of rigidity of the neck.
A wound was found in the posterior wall of the pharynx, and the X-ray photograph revealed the fracture of the proc. articularis caudalis of the 2 nd cervical vertebra and its horizontal luxation.
Gibson's sling was applied for treatment.
