Abstract
A 16-year-old boy developed bilateral sensoryneural hearing loss in Feburary, 1973. The audiogram showed a bilateral sharp high frequency loss. There was no recruitment. He was found to have discrimination scores of 54% in the left ear and 24% in the right ear. The caloric response was absent bilaterall and nystagmus was found. He had a cervical meningioma in 1966. The cervical meningioma was removed by an operation. He found a facial palsy in March 4, 1975. A café-au-lait spot was noted on the right leg. He was diagnosed von Recklinghausen's disease.
