Abstract
Three cases of fibrous dysplasia of the maxilla and facial bone were reported.
Case 1. A 24-year-old woman complained of swelling and deformity on the left side of her face especially on the nasal region. The diagnosis of fibrous dysplasia of facial bone was made histologically under exploratory and conservative operation. No recurrence was seen postoperatively.
Case 2. A 10-year-old girl developed swelling of the left zygomatic region but had no symptom on the nasal region. Partial resection and curettage of tumor was made under exploratory maxillary srugery, with recovery of the figure of the face.
Case 3. A 10-year-old girl sufferd from swelling of the right zygomatic region and nasal obstruction. Under roentgenological examination, no infiltration of the tumor was seen to the lateral and frontal wall of the maxi llary cavity. Under surgery, tumor was located in maxillary and ethomoidal sinuses, and was removed completely.
