Abstract
A 21-year old female had a swelling and induration on the right cheek. The blood examination showed a increase of eosinophiles (19%). IgE level of serum showed the value 1700 units. Allergic intracutaneous test was negative to candida. The administration of the steroid and antiinflammatory drug reduced the tumorous swelling, but after cessation of them the swelling recurred. Then the patient was treated by irradiation of Liniac in the dosage of 3000 rads. Radiation therapy effectively reduced the swelling, the count of eosinophils and IgE level. The patrent made favorable progress after the treatment.
