Abstract
Twenty-nine patients with acoustic neurinoma were clinically investigated and their past medical histories were reviewed. 1) About 70 % of the patients first visited on otorhinolaryngologist and nearly 26 % of them were diagnosed as having acoustic neurinoma at that time. 2) In total, about 80 % of the patients visited an otorhinolaryngologist at one stage of the disease, and nearly 50 % of them were correctly diagnosed by them. 3) About 20 % of the patients did not have a history of physical checkup by an otorhinolaryngologist.
