Abstract
The authors report a case of right temporal lobe abscess complicated with meningitis of otic origin in a 13-year-old girl, which was caused by streptococcus and diplococcus from an acute exacerbation of chronic otitis media. After the radical operation and incision of the brain abscess, the intensive injection of Penicillin and per-oral administration of a total amount of 40.0g of Achromycin were resorted to. The patient was completely recovered without any residual effect.
