Abstract
A case of dysphagia after occlusion of the basilar artery have been reported. A 41-year-old male was admitted in our hospital with dizziness and occipital dull pain. Although he had no nystagmus and neurological findings at the admission, the stroke with consciousness loss and respiratory arrest was occur on 3 days after the admission. The dysphagia of the pharyngeal stage was appeared after the recovery of the consciousness, however the swallowing training was effected to improve his swallowing function 4 months after the stroke.
