The writer has designed a receiver of sound through the teeth in conformity with the fact that bone conduction is stronger through the teeth than through other parts. The receiver is composed of,
A Sound tube,
A vibration board, and
A conducting rod to be held between the teeth.
It is effective for sounds of 128-2048 vibrations per sec. Therefore, its merits are mainly to display its effect with regard to the sound of the human voice, and not those of high or low toned other general sounds.
