A test of teeth conduction of sound through the upper canine tooth has been made in forty cases of the chronic sinusitis before and after the Radical empyema operation (Denker-Watsuji).
The results are as follows:—
1) The maxilla has nothing to do with teeth conduction of sound.
2) The destruction of the maxillary sinus makes the teeth conduction of sound faint.
