Abstract
There are only a few of minutely examined cases of the equilibratory disturbances which are caused by a cranial trauma.
The writer examined a patient oto-neurologically in almost every detail, in whom, after a trauma, still remains a central failure of motion; and came to the following conclusion.
It will be apposite that this case is thus brought about. Perhaps the lesion at the end branches of arteria cerebelli inferior posterior by the trauma produced some hemorrhaged fields of various sizes in the base of the left cerebellar hemisphere, umbus, nucleus which is contained at the left side of pons, the left vestibulonucleal cord, and near these parts. Though a part of bleeding was absorbed after that, still a part of hemorrhage was organised and this secondarily leads to atrophy and degeneration.
