An attempt were made on the anatomical verification of mastoid surgery from 556 cases of operative findings.
None of necessity shonld be given attention to individual and sex difference of dangerous portion, but there are some modifications in the situation of transvers sinus, the height of bottom of middle cranial cavum, the condition of mastoid cells and the weidth of antrum in relation with previous affection of the middle ear.
