Postoperative changes of the blood were observed in respect of red cell count, specific gravity of the blood, hemoglobin, hematocrit, total serum protein and specific gravity of the plasma.
In this study, patients were divided into two groups, i. e. the groups for which the postoperative treatment was improved by fluid transfusion, administration of hematopoietics and good dietary and the group usually treated.
The results were as follows:
1) The improvement of the postoperative treatment was effective upon the reduce of red cell count and specific gravity of the blood.
2) Hemoglobin and Hematocrit were appreciably reduced especially in the not inproved group.
3) Total serum protein and specific gravity of the plasma were not changed significantly in the both groups.
