Abstract
We encountered a 49yr. old Japanese male with Cat Scratch Disease. The chief complaint was lymph node swelling in the right upper neck. There was a local redness, slight pain, headache and stiffness in the shoulders. He had fed cats since childhood and clinical and patho-histological evidence confirmed the diagnosis. Virus infections were absent but a corynebacterium was present.
Tetracycline and Macrolide were effective.
