Abstract
The patient was a 5-year-old male, and the tumor had been noted at birth. The tumor was removed operatively, and the histopathological examination revealed fibromyoma originating from smooth muscles and collagen fibers. Leiomyoma is very rare in the nose or paranasal region. Only 30 cases, including our case, have been reported in Japan. These cases are reviewed.
