A 54-year-old man with Pustulosis palmaris et plantaris (PPP) complained of lower abdominal pain. During the clinical course, the sterno-costo-clavicular joint swelled, and PPP relapsed. Bilateral tonsillectomy was performed. Almost immediately, all symptoms disappeared.
Both PPP and sterno-costo-clavicular hyperostosis seem to be related to the focal infection, and removal of the focus appeared to be effective treatment.
