A case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma is reported. A 25-year-old male was referred to our hospital with a tumor in the right maxillary sinus which was invading the surrounding tissue and causing bone destruction. After radiotherapy and selective chemotherapy, he received a total maxillectomy. However, two years and five months later, local lesions recurred. Although several chemotherapy strategies and additional surgical operations were performed, he died from local brain lesions after five years and four months of treatment.
