The Form of Fire Bricks

Abstract

The author described on the form of fire bricks after his long years' experiences at the Yawata Iron and Steel Co.and observations followed, from the points of manufacturing the fire bricks and their strength after they have been used in the construction of ovens and furnaces.He presented his ideas for fire bricks in appropriate dimensions, and directions for protrusion and indenture of the form aiming at simplicity within the proper bounds of standard in point of manufacture and usage.
