Abstract
The detailed technical informations are given with 39 references on the American processes for producing the aromatic hydrocarbons from petroleum by catalytic reforming, several synthetic methods with special catalysers as well as Thermofor method.Separation of aromatic compounds by distillation, extraction and adsorption methods is outlined.
