Abstract
Low cost of hydrogen for ammonia synthesis is hoped in Japan.For this reason, the outline and the cost of preparation of hydrogen produced by water gas, air gas, Winkler process, coke oven gas process in Japan were summarized and the outline of preparation of hydrogen for ammonia synthesis in the world was report-ed.And pilot plants of I.C.I., Bureau of Mines, Morgantown process, Panindico and process of Koppers, Flesh-Demag, Lurgi, Texaco were shown.The results of oil gasification peocess.by Panindico, Koppers, Monto cateni were compared, and lastly, the cost for preparation of hydrogen produced by the gasification of fine coal-was reported.
