Abstract
Demand and supply of energy in Japan are analysed for the periods before and after the War.The future is foreseen from various angles such as intensive industria-lization and increased consumption per capita and it is inferred that the integral policy for energy must be based upon the development of new resources of energy and rationalization of their uses.
