抄録
The author pointed out the neccesities of following problems: -
(1) the investigation of the test method for road octane number of motor gasoline which matches to the condition of roads in Japan, instead of CRC Union Town Method or CRC Border Line Method.
(2) the establishment of laboratory test method of octane no. which satisfies above road performance.
(3) the investigations of the laboratory performance test, method of motor oil or gear oil.
(4) cooperation of petroleum and automotive industies to performe above investi-gations.
