Abstract
Air pollution is greatly affected by weather conditions such as the direction and velocity of the wind and the inversion layer of temperature.
The author pointing out the problems of smog phenomena, described the atmospheric stability, inversion layer of temperature, diffusion of atmosphere which may chiefly cause the smog occurrence. He finally referred, as future subjects, to smog forecasting, preinvestigation of weather for the construction of new industrial town, and routine observation of inversion layer for smog warning.
