Abstract
The GHG reduction effect of CNF utilization as the composite materials for automotive tires by substituting a certain amount of carbon black was evaluated. The total amount of GHG emissions can be reduced by 29.3 kg-CO_2eq per one passenger car, and 383.8 kg-CO_2eq per one heavy-duty vehicle, respectively. It could be considered that CNF utilization for automotive tires is one of the effective way for GHG reduction.
