Nautilus Restaurant at ION Shopping Center Singapore(IES Illumination Awards 2011 AWARDS OF MERIT, <Special Issue>Japanese Illumination Designs Highly Recognized in Overseas as Well 2011)

Abstract

"Nautilus" is a seafood restaurant located on the 4th floor of "ION orchard", prime commercial/shopping facility in the center of busy orchard road, Singapore. This project was requested by Yuhkichi Kawai, who owns offices in Tokyo and Malaysia and also plays an active part in the industry all over Asia. The concept for the project was "The atmosphere associated with the female owner, which is elegance and tenderness", and the softness is effectively expressed within the indirect illumination.
