The mechanism of various radio frequency noises in fluorescent lamps has been experimentally investigated.
It is obserued that these noises have relation to the Characteristics of the cathode behavion, due to its coiled-coil construction.
Based on these investigations, the countermeasures for the radio interference and examples of application of noise phenomena to the stu.ly of the cathode characteristics are described.
