For the period of 6 months, from October 1966 to April 1967, a domestic comparison was made in connection with light distribution of luminaire, and excellent results were given. It shows a high technical level of measuring technique in Japan.
We analyzed the data which whe obtained from experimenting stations, and which were able to be compared with ours and examined error components of light distribution measuring equipment. We found the subjects for study were “setting of angle” and “measurement of light distribution (cd) by luminous intensity standard lamp”.
When we consider those two problematic points, it appears that hereafter the comparative errors of measured Values of the efficiency of luminaire which will be made in each experimenting station will be well within 2%.
