抄録
The National Research Institute of Agricultural Engineering (hereafter referred to as the Institute) is one of forty-three governmental research institutes located in Tsukuba Science City in Japan. The Institute is involved in a broad range of agricultural research, investigations, and analyses utilizing agricultural engineering science. This article gives a brief description of four departments within the Institute, including their purpose, organization and the nature of various projects, and discusses the future of the Institute itself.
