The Development of Coal Hydrogasification Technology to secure a stable supply of substituted natural gas (SNG) from coal at low cost has been performed from FY 1996 as a part of the Japanese governmental new energy program called the New Sunshine Project. This paper reports results from researches on hydrogasication reaction and on configuration of gasifier in succession to the previous paper.
