6.石炭の自然発火性とラジカル量の相関関係

抄録

Bituminous, subbituminous and weathered subbituminous coals were used to elucidate the mechanism of spontaneous ignition of coal. These coals showed the different ignition behavior in contact with air at 50℃. Thus the change of radical concentration with the reaction of oxygen was monitored by in situ ESR. As result it was found that the initial exothermal reactions of the coal in air correlate with the occurrence of the additional radicals on the coal surface.
