In this study, to shorten gasification reaction time of mixed fuel of low grade coal and biomass, different kinds of biomass and coal were used. We investigated the most suitable combination of biomass and coal type. After the pyrolysis, the gasification experiment was conducted with mixed char of low-grade coal and biomass under the different temperatures and CO2 gas. As the results, gasification reaction of mixed char of low-grade coal and rice straw was effective. It was assumed that the ash contents of the mixed fuel play the catalytic functuon in mixed gasification.
