It is requested to maximize the Soluble yield with minimum energy requirement from practical viewpoint to realize the proposed solvent degradative extraction technology. To do so, it is essential to minimize the solvent to Soluble ratio or the treatment. A new operating scheme, which uses the Solube-solvent mixture repeatedly as the solvent treating biomass before separating Soluble from the solvent by replacing around 10 % of the mixture by fresh solvent every time, was proposed. The validity of this operating scheme was examined by treating a Thai rice straw with a general-purpose petroleum based solvent called A150 through 10 times of repeated use of Soluble-A150 mixture.
