Abstract

A comparison between detailed and reduced models were conducted under the pyrolysis and oxidation (φ=5, 10) conditions of three component mixed gasoline surrogate fuel of toluene / iso-octane / n-heptane. A detailed reaction model is the mechanism of Raj et al with the 231 chemical species, 1350 gas phase reactions. And a reduced reaction model is the mechanism of An et al with the 85 chemical species, 232 gas phase reactions. It is find that the reduced reaction model has some problems in the case of changing fuel composition and oxidation conditions.
