Abstract

In this research, bamboo flame burning experiment using flat flame was carried out for the purpose of elucidating the mechanism of adhesion of ash. Attachment mechanism of bottom ash and fly ash was investigated by analyzing the adhesion amount and component analysis of the ash adhered to the titanium plate. We focused attention on K2O and SiO2 which are main components of ash and examined. In the bottom ash, the deposits generated at the time of releasing and burning volatile components contained a large content of SiO2, shifted to char combustion with the passage of time, the content of K2O increased and the amount of adhered increased. On the other hand, for fly ash, it contained a large amount of SiO2, and the adhesion amount was constant.
