Abstract
This article aims to grasp a land use conversion and the farmers’ consciousness for it from at the time of the amendment to the low of productive green tract system to present. We surveyed a land use conversion and the farmers’ consciousness using land use maps and interviewing with 53 farmers at Takatsunami area Kariya City, Aichi Pref. 2 of 13 lots of the productive agriculture lands and are cancelled, 30 of 88 lots of the agriculture land for building site are diminished by land use conversion. Several restrictions of the amendment are strongly effected to the farmers’ choice for assignment for the productive agriculture land. Particularly the lowest limit of lot size are contrary to farmers traditional value and life. As a result, however the amendment to the low of productive green tract system is enacted to realize good environment for both city and farm land, it is still show contradiction to farmers traditional value and behavior, nor could realized a land use conversion for urbanization.
