The aim and intenion of my research are summed up in the follwing there points. (1) To discover and research the original idea of Park Belts in Adelaide and New Zealand and town planning point of view. (2) To find out the origin, development, detailed facts and ideas of the Park Belts. (3) To understand evaluate the influence, the Town Belt idea gave to Haward's idea of a garden city and modern green belt planning.
