A correlation analysis and a multiple regression were performed using a biomedical computer program. Mg and Fe content and aging temperature have a separated effect on the mechanical properties. Mg content and aging temperature have significant effect on the ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, impact strength and Brinell hardness. Fe content has a effect on the elongation and impact strength.
