This paper deals with the plots on a bicharacteristic control chart which shows successive runs and upward runs. It is described that a method for finding the out of control is easily derived by arbitrary plotting point and arbitrary run length. So, the values of upper percentage point K^2 for Type 1 error α at two dimensional normal population were computed and tabulated every sample size and run length. Therefore, upon omparing the plotting value of run with the critical value from Table, we can immediately decide the out of control under the sigificance level α.
