Abstract
Our company specializes in producing automotive interior composents. Distinguished from other companies is that we make a variety of components with different specifications. Under the circumstances, weintroduced APM into our factory in 1973,in order to meet whih flexibility required. In this system we manufacture and supply only the necessary goods by a plate method. In 1976,in order to make the APM function more effective, we started overall activities to improve every segment of our production system in the whole factory. As QC circles and every worker's spontaneous activities (JK) were elevated, we have produced good results from improvement of productivity, reduction of inventory and so on. We are expanding our activites to the improvement of our indirect sections based on the same idea.
