Abstract
The author states the history of the company standardization and explains the meaning, features and processes of the modern company standardization to suit to the age of innovation and diversification of product and production.Then he suggests some problems of the standardization to be solved to achieve the effective production, for examples, standardization process of product design, its relation to product development and computerization, inconsistency of standardization with variation, change and creativity.At last, he proposes the establishment of"standardization engineering"as a field of industrial engineering.
