Abstract
This paper describes an impression of Australian management through logistics system implementation in an Australian company. Australian corporate environment is characterized by factors such as labour's attitude, strikes, internationality, production environment and industrial structure. The findings unexpected are high efficiency, poor communications, technological conservatism, factional powers and the importance of system management. The conflicts between Japanese management and Australian management are surveyed from the view point of cognition gap.
