Abstract
In this lecture notes, fundamentals of the fuzzy theory and their applications to the related fields of industrial engineering are presented. As the first issue of this series, the overview of recent development and the subjects on fuzzy measures are described. Fuzzy measures represent various modalities such as the randomness in the probability theory, the possibility, the necessity, the degree of belief, the plausibility and the degree of importance.Fuzzy integrals express subjective and vague expectations.
